On the 6th September 2023 in the beautiful surroundings of St Edmund Hall, Oxford we held our latest iteration of the Emerging Viruses symposia that had been on hiatus during the COVID years. A wide array of quality speakers from Keynotes (John Oxford, Danny Altmann and Ian Brown) to ECRs and PhD students made for an excellent opportunity to learn, to network and to re-connect with old friends and colleagues.
