Joanne was funded for a postdoctoral position in VPU by a UKRI Innovate UK award led by the SME DIOSVax.  During this position Joanne was instrumental in the development of a complete influenza A H1-H18 pseudotype library that can be employed downstream for the immunogenicity assessment of new "universal" vaccine antigens. Joanne additionally contributed to Gates DIOS-UIVA deliverables.

The VPU continues to work in close partnership with DIOSVax on influenza and COVID vaccines.
