Kelly was funded for a postdoctoral position in VPU by a Bill & Melinda Gates Grand Challenges award.  During this position Kelly was instrumental in the development of a complete influenza A-C pseudotype library that can be employed downstream for the immunogenicity assessment of new "universal" vaccine antigens. Kelly additionally contributed to Innovate UK DIOS deliverables.
